Lack of capacity and backlog for imports from Asia

Dear Customer,

We are experiencing a continued difficult situation linked to imported goods from Asia.
The market situation was strained even before Golden Week and
further cancellations have further aggravated the situation.

Backlog is currently being demonstrated in most major Asian ports.
At the same time, we are experiencing a shortage of 40-foot containers in Shanghai and continued high booking pressure, which is slowing down the recovery speed.

We anticipate that the market situation will continue in the near future, although we will temporarily see additional transport capacity in the coming weeks.

To minimize the risk of delays, we continue to request that transport bookings be available to us at least 4 weeks before the desired departure.

Unfortunately, we also experience delays regarding train transport home from Asia.
Even in this case, Golden Week has meant an extensive backlog in terminals and the booking pressure remains high.

We work at the transmission level to minimize the impact, but delays can occur.
